Mesh socket joints are utilized in the process of pulling overhead conductor, OPGW, and earth wires, as well as underground power cable or telecom optic fiber cable. The mesh sock joints are specially designed for pulling or installing OPGW cable or GSW cable in transmission line stringing operations. They are braided from high-strength galvanized steel wire.
