1. Introduction of leakage tracking test equipment
The leakage tracking test equipment is strictly designed and manufactured according to the requirements of IEC60112 standard, the equipment is required by IEC62196-1 clause 28.4 and 29.6. The tracking test is to apply a certain voltage between the 2mm*5mm platinum electrodes on the surface of a solid insulating material, and drop a conductive liquid (0.1% NH 4CL)with a specified droplet volume at a fixed height (35mm) for 30s to evaluate the leakage resistance of the surface of solid insulating materials under the combined action of electric field and humid or polluted media, and determine its comparative tracking index (CTI) and resistance to tracking index (PTI).
2. Application of leakage tracking test equipment
The leakage tracking test equipment is applicable for research, production and quality inspection departments of lighting equipment, low-voltage electrical appliances, household appliances, machine tool appliances, motors, power tools, electronic instruments, electrical instruments, and etc.. It is also suitable for insulating materials and engineering plastics, electrical connectors and auxiliary parts industry.
3. The sturcture of the leakage tracking test equipment
The tracking index test equipment is controlled by single chip and push buttons. The interval time, drop quantity, leakage current and test voltage are all can be set on the control panel. On the working room, the drop height can be measured by a gauge block, and the device controlls the size of the drop by adjusting the switch of the solenoid valve clockwise or counterclockwise. The test apparatus is built-in air exhaust, the front panel is transparent for easy observation of the experimental process.
