A: The operating viscosity should be between 16 and 160 mm²/s. At startup, the viscosity can be up to 800 mm²/s in zero flow condition, or 200 mm²/s with operating flow.
Operation & Performance
3Q: How does the pressure control mechanism work?
A: System pressure acts on the stator ring against a spring force. When the set pressure is reached, the stator ring moves to reduce eccentricity, thereby reducing flow. At the set maximum pressure, flow is reduced to nearly zero.
4Q: How is the maximum system pressure adjusted?
A: It is adjusted via the adjustment screw (item 7 in the diagram), which sets the force of the pressure spring.
5Q: How is the maximum flow limited?
A: An additional adjustment screw (item 9) is provided on the pump to limit the maximum flow.
