A: First, disassemble the pump from the system and the motor, remove the old shaft seal with a special tool, clean the seal groove, install a new shaft seal with the lip facing the inside of the pump, and apply a small amount of hydraulic oil to the lip before assembly.
Q: Is it necessary to install a check valve on the discharge side of the PV7 series pump?
A: It is recommended to install a check valve on the discharge side to prevent reverse flow of hydraulic oil when the pump stops, avoid pump reversal and reduce startup load.
