The A10VSO28 is an axial piston variable pump designed for open circuit hydraulic systems. It features a swashplate design that allows for stepless flow variation by adjusting the swashplate angle. Key characteristics include excellent suction performance, low noise operation, long service life, high power-to-weight ratio, and the ability to handle continuous operating pressures up to 280 bar (with peak pressures up to 350 bar). It also has two housing drain ports for improved reliability.
The pump has a nominal displacement of 28 ml/rev. It typically operates at a rated speed of 1500 rpm and can handle a maximum continuous pressure of 28 MPa (280 bar), with peak pressures up to 35 MPa (350 bar) momentarily. It offers a volumetric efficiency ≥94% and a total efficiency ≥85%. The pump's weight is approximately 23.5 kg, and it requires a fluid inlet pressure (suction pressure) of around 14 bar.
The A10VSO28 series offers various control options to suit different appliion needs. These include pressure control (DR), remote pressure control (DRG), and pressure-flow control (DFR1). For example, common model variants include A10VSO28DR/31R-PPA12N00 (pressure control) and A10VSO28DFR1/31R-VPA12N00 (pressure-flow control).
