The B-spool has positive overlap (underlap), which provides good centering and dirt tolerance, making it suitable for general industrial applications. The "80M" indicates an 80 L/min rated flow with a medium (M) flow characteristic (progressive or linear).
Integrated Electronics (OBE)
This valve has on-board electronics (OBE), meaning the amplifier is built into the valve coil housing. It accepts a ±10 V DC (A1) command signal directly and uses LVDT feedback for internal spool position control, eliminating the need for an external amplifier box.
Electrical Connection (K0)
The /K0 suffix indicates that the valve is supplied with a plug socket (female) but no attached cable or plug. You must procure a separate mating plug (e.g., per DIN 43563 or EN 175201-804) to connect the power and signal wires.
Fail-Safe Behavior
This is a double-solenoid, spring-centered valve. In the event of power loss or signal failure, the internal springs return the spool to the central (neutral) position (typically all ports blocked, depending on the spool symbol).
Critical Installation Notes
Plug Requirement: Unlike valves with pre-attached cables, the /K0 version requires you to wire a separate plug. Ensure correct pin assignment for +24V, 0V, and ±10V signal.
Mounting: Use the correct ISO 4401-05 (NG10) subplate to ensure proper port alignment and sealing.
Cleanliness: Maintain oil cleanliness (recommended ISO 4406 19/17/14 or better) to protect the sensitive proportional spool.
