The C3 spool is a zero-overlap (critical center) spool with servo-valve quality. This design provides high linearity and fast response, ideal for closed-loop control applications. The "B50L" indicates a specific flow gain characteristic (50 L/min with linear characteristic "L").
Control & Feedback (/A1)
The /A1 suffix indicates a 0...10 V DC voltage input for the command signal. The valve features integrated LVDT position feedback, enabling full closed-loop control of the spool position. It has integrated on-board electronics (OBE), so it does not require an external amplifier.
High Dynamic Performance
As a direct-acting valve with integrated electronics, the 4WRPEH series offers high frequency response and fast step response. It is suitable for applications requiring servo-like performance with the robustness of a proportional valve.
Fail-Safe Behavior
This valve is single-side actuated (single proportional solenoid with spring return). In the event of power failure or signal loss, the spring returns the spool to a defined 4/4 fail-safe position (typically all ports blocked).
Critical Installation Notes
Cleanliness: Maintain high oil cleanliness (recommended ISO 4406 18/16/13 or better) due to the sensitive servo-type spool and sleeve assembly.
Voltage Signal: The /A1 version uses a 0...10 V DC voltage signal. Ensure proper shielding of the signal cable to prevent noise interference.
Mounting: Use the correct ISO 4401-05 (NG10) subplate to ensure proper port alignment and sealing.
