A: No. The valve is factory-set and calibrated for a maximum pressure of 200 bar. Attempting to adjust it beyond this range may damage internal components, void the warranty, and create safety hazards. The maximum working pressure of the valve body is 420 bar, but the proportional control range is limited to 200 bar. For higher pressure requirements, select a valve with the appropriate pressure rating.
Q: What should I check if the pressure doesn't reach 200 bar?
A: First, verify that the input control signal is reaching the maximum value (e.g., 10V or 20mA). Check electrical connections and the external amplifier. If the signal is correct but pressure is low, inspect for internal leakage (damaged seals), contamination causing spool sticking, or possible spring fatigue.
