The Rexroth A4VSO125DRG/30L-PPB13N00 is a genuine German-manufactured A4VSO series open-circuit axial piston variable pump, equipped with DRG pressure compensated control and remote pilot pressure setting. DRG Remote Pilot Pressure Control - Benefit for Mining HPUs
Standard DR requires manual spring adjustment. DRG adds remote pilot capability:
Base pressure set by internal spring (minimum)
Applying pilot pressure to port X raises the effective pressure setpoint proportionally

Q1: What is the difference between DR and DRG on A4VSO pumps?
A1: DR has a mechanical spring adjustment only — pressure is changed by turning the screw. DRG includes a pilot port X so the pressure setpoint can be remotely increased by applying pilot pressure, in addition to the spring preload. This enables centralized or automated pressure control.
Q2: Can DRG be used without pilot pressure connected?
A2: Yes. Without pilot pressure on port X, the pump regulates to the spring-adjusted base pressure. Applying pilot pressure raises the effective set pressure up to the max allowed by the spring range.
Q3: What is the difference between PPB13 and PPB25?
A3: Both are SAE flanges/ports. PPB13 is the compact SAE port size, preferred for manifold-mounted skids in plant/mine HPUs; PPB25 uses larger SAE ports for high-flow piped systems. Pump performance is identical.
