The Rexroth A4VSO180LR2G/30L-PPB25N00 is a genuine German-manufactured A4VSO series open-circuit axial piston variable pump, equipped with LR2G constant power (horsepower) limiting control with pilot pressure limitation. With a displacement of 180 cm³/r and PPB25 SAE flange & ports, the pump automatically reduces displacement as system pressure rises so that input power (pressure × flow) does not exceed a preset limit — and the power setpoint itself can be influenced/limited via an external pilot pressure signal.
This makes LR2G especially suitable for large industrial hydraulic power units driven by fixed-speed electric motors where motor overload protection is critical and where remote or pilot-assisted adjustment of the power limit is desired.
