What does the model code "AZPF-1X-019RCB20MB" mean?

Why are the pressure ratings for the 19 cm³ model lower than smaller displacements?
This is a design characteristic of the AZPF 1X series. Larger displacements (19, 22.5 cm³) have reduced pressure ratings (210 bar continuous vs. 250 bar for smaller sizes) to maintain bearing life and structural integrity under higher torque loads.
Can I get this pump in counter-clockwise rotation?
Yes. Rexroth typically offers a left-hand rotation version (denoted by an 'L' in the suffix, e.g., `...LCB...`). Always verify the rotation direction before installation.
What is the recommended operating viscosity?
Operate within 12 to 800 mm²/s. For optimal efficiency and service life, maintain viscosity between 20 and 100 mm²/s. Avoid prolonged operation below 12 mm²/s to prevent internal wear.
What is the maximum allowable speed?
The absolute maximum speed is 2500 rpm. However, the recommended continuous operating range is 1000 to 2000 rpm. Exceeding 2000 rpm may require special suction conditions (e.g., pressurized inlet) to avoid cavitation.

Can this pump be repaired in the field?

What is the #1 cause of premature failure?
Oil contamination. This pump requires very clean oil (NAS Class 9-10). Always use a pressure filter with a beta ratio (β10) ≥ 100. Running with a clogged suction filter or low oil level can cause cavitation and astrophic damage.
