A:​ The DR control is a pressure compensator. Below the set pressure, the pump delivers maximum flow (40 cm³/rev). When system pressure reaches the set point (adjusted via the control cover screw), the swashplate automatically de-strokes to maintain constant pressure, delivering only the flow needed to compensate for leaks. This saves energy compared to a fixed pump with a relief valve.

Q3: What is the recommended drive motor power?

A:​ At 1500 rpm and 350 bar, the pump requires approximately 35 kW​ of mechanical input power. It is recommended to use a 37 kW (50 HP)​ electric motor for safe continuous operation. Always check the torque requirements at your specific operating pressure.

Q4: Can I add a gear pump to the through-drive?

A:No.​ This specific variant has the code N00, which means no through-drive. The shaft does not protrude from the rear housing to drive an auxiliary pump. If you need a multi-pump configuration (e.g., for a charge pump), you must select a version with a through-drive code (e.g., K01, K02, etc.).
