This test method is Appendix C of BS 8414 "Fire performance of external cladding systems Test method for non-loadbearing external cladding systems", which is the smoldering characteristic test method.
Main Features:
1. Equipped with a programmable temperature controller, providing a standard temperature rise curve;
2. The testing time is 24 hours, and the temperature is displayed and controlled throughout the entire process;
3. Complies with the testing standards BS 8414 and GB/T29416-2012 Appendix C Test Methods for Fire Performance of Building External Wall Insulation Systems;
4. The testing software can display temperature values and temperature curves;
5. Provide furnace thermocouples and sample surface thermocouples;
6. If the center temperature of the sample is the same as the furnace temperature, it indicates that there is no tendency for smoldering of the sample within the test cycle and temperature range;
7. During the entire experimental process (24 hours), if the sample exhibits a test trajectory with self-heating characteristics, it is determined that the sample has a tendency to smolder.
