QX11L Description
The Mitsubishi Electric QX11L is a compact DC input module for the MELSEC System Q series of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). It is designed to interface digital signals from field devices like push buttons, limit switches, proximity switches, and sensors with the PLC's CPU. The "L" in its model number signifies its compact size, allowing for high-density installation on the main base unit to save control panel space. This module provides reliable and stable acquisition of on/off signals, which is a fundamental requirement for virtually any automation and control system.
QX11L Features
1.Compact Design: The slim profile of the QX11L allows for high-density mounting on the main base unit, maximizing the number of I/O points within a limited space, which is ideal for compact control panels.
2.Positive/Negative Common Logic Switching: The common terminal can be switched between positive common (sinking) and negative common (sourcing) logic via a hardware switch on the module. This provides excellent flexibility for wiring with different types of field devices without changing the wiring scheme.
3.Easy Installation and Wiring: The module snaps easily onto the base unit. It uses a removable terminal block, which simplifies wiring and maintenance. The terminal block can be disconnected for wiring outside the panel and then reattached.
4.LED Indicators: Each of the 16 input points has an individual LED indicator (LED turns on when the input is active). A module power (PWR) LED provides clear visual status for easy troubleshooting and system monitoring.
