The Burkert Type 0293 is a high-performance, compact direct-acting 2/2 way plunger solenoid valve engineered for precise and safe industrial fluid control. Specifically designed for low-pressure combustible gases and clean liquid handling, this valve serves general industrial, HVAC, and burner system applications with exceptional reliability.
This direct-acting, straight-through solenoid valve operates in mode A as a normally closed (NC) unit. When de-energized, the valve remains closed. Upon activation, the magnetic core is attracted, overcoming spring force to open the valve. A screen installed at the inlet provides additional protection.
