National Instruments sbRIO-9269 C Series Voltage Output Module

Featured with Channel-to-Channel isolation and 100 kS/s/channel simultaneous update rate, the sbRIO-9269 (Part Number: 781120-01) is a Voltage Output Module by National Instruments. This C Series module is known for its improved signal quality and powerful safety features. The inter-channel isolation capability offered by the NI sbRIO-9269 makes the module an ideal solution for a variety of industrial applications. Channel-to-channel isolation is considered important for applications where multiple electrical systems with multiple ground planes exist. In such cases, increased noise affects signal quality and the ability of the module to operate with maximum precisions. Inter-channel isolation is an answer to all such issues.

The NI sbRIO-9269 offers simultaneous updates through all its channels at the maximum achievable update rate. This Voltage Output Module has 4 analog output channels. Each channel can operate within a voltage range of ±10 V and can drive a maximum current of ±10 mA. With this module, you can achieve a maximum output voltage range of ±40 V by cascading the four voltage output channels. Additionally, it has a high impedance power-on output state. The maximum output current of all channels of the sbRIO-9269 cannot exceed ±20 mA. The NI device has a power consumption of up to 1 W from the chassis when active, and up to 120 μW when in sleep mode. Also, it has a thermal dissipation of 1.4 W maximum, and up to 77 mW when in sleep mode.

This C Series Voltage Output Module comes equipped with 16-bit, high-performance R-2R DACs. The outputs of the sbRIO-9269 initiate at 0 voltages during startup. The output state shifts to high impedance during shutdown. The NI sbRIO-9269 comes with safety features, including short-circuit protection and overvoltage protection. These protections are incorporated to ensure the safety of the module as well as connected loads.

The sbRIO-9269 weighs 1.7 oz. It has recommended operating and storage temperature ranges of –40 to 85 °C, non-condensing operating and storage humidity ranges of 10 to 90% RH and 5 to 95% RH. The device is designed to comply with the following electrical safety standards: IEC 61010-1, EN 61010-1, UL 61010-1, and CSA 61010-1.
