National Instruments NI-5771 Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO
The National Instruments NI-5771 (Part Number: 781419-02) is a 2-Channel, 900 MHz Bandwidth, 8-Bit, Digitizer Adapter Module that is designed for FlexRIO based systems specifically. This device can sample one channel at 3.0 GS/s or two channels at 1.5 GS/s. This model can operate over an analog input voltage range of -0.675 V to 0.675 V and is compatible with Virtex-5 and Kintex-7 FPGAs. The NI-5771 comes with 2 SMA type analog input connectors (AI 0 and A1), which support DC input coupling.
This device comes with a 1.5 GHz, VCXO type onboard internal sample clock. The NI-5771 has a CLK IN connector and a CLK OUT connector. The AUX I/O connector is an HDMI connector. This module contains 12, bi-directional channels (4 PFI and 8 DIO) and supports 3.3 V LVCMOS interface standard. In addition, the National Instruments NI-5771 Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO features a single-ended, SMB type TRIG connector. It is important to note that users can utilize a third-party, standard, HDMI cable with the AUX I/O connector. However, the AUX I/O port offered in this device is not an HDMI interface.
Users can utilize any 50 Ω coaxial, shielded cable to connect to the connectors provided on the NI 5771 front panel. This module weighs around 413 g and has dimensions of 12.9 × 2.0 × 12.1 cm. The module supports software which includes a broad range of example projects to assist users in creating their LabVIEW FPGA application.
