Featured with 10X attenuation and 2.5 GHz bandwidth, the SA2500X (Part Number: 784257-01) is an Oscilloscope Probe from National Instruments. This single-ended probe can be used in a variety of measurement applications where high-speed and high-bandwidth are required. The NI SA2500X is a high-impedance active probe housed in a T-shape casing. The unique design characteristics allow the positioning of multiple probes adjacent to each other. Thus, you can achieve multiple kinds of measurements from a single point at the same time.
The BNC connector incorporated in this Oscilloscope Probe makes it compatible with almost any instrument with a 50 ohm input. The NI SA2500X has a dynamic measuring range of ± 8 V and a maximum rated input voltage of 20 V. This active Oscilloscope Probe is powered by an external auxiliary power. The National Instruments SA2500X Oscilloscope Probe weighs around 96 grams and is offered with a 1.3-meter cable. Thus, you can easily use this probe while keeping the host oscilloscope at a reasonable distance.
The NI SA2500X supports both AC and DC input coupling if the resistance does not exceed 50 ohms. This Oscilloscope Probe comes with integrated protection against ESD voltage or electrostatic discharge voltage. The SA2500X Oscilloscope Probe offers connectivity to various kinds of oscilloscopes, including standalone oscilloscope devices, PXI oscilloscopes, and NI VirtualBench instruments. With this Oscilloscope Probe, you will be able to complete measurements at 10X fixed attenuation. This probe has a wide operating temperature range, since it is designed to provide you with precise measurements while operating within a range of 0 °C to 45 °C.
