Titanium Electroplating Tank For Chrome Electroplating And Anodizing Polishing
We construct our tanks using 1" thick sheet material, which enables larger welds in all corners for enhanced strength and eliminates warping. Buchholz Smith offers single stand-alone polypropylene plating tanks in any size for rack and barrel applications, complete with all necessary equipment for your plating requirements.
We also fabricate single, double, and triple rinse tanks, drag-outs, acid tanks, and sump tanks. For existing leaking tanks that are difficult to remove from production lines, we provide cost-effective "drop-in" rigid tank liners fabricated using advanced Wegener plastic welding technology.
We support various tank materials including Titanium, Stainless Steel, PVDF, polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, and HDPE.
We recommend supporting tanks on 16" centers to minimize warping on heated tanks or with heavy solutions, substantially extending tank life.
Tanks feature steel and plastic support around sidewalls to eliminate flexing and work stress on welds and joints.
Our tanks are butt welded in corners with extrusion welding for complete seam penetration, plus inside welds for extra strength. Reinforced corners are standard for larger applications.
