Product Overview

The ELEVANDI ATL Motor Hub Lock series is designed for e-bikes, electric scooters and shared-mobility vehicles that need physical rear-wheel immobilization integrated inside the hub motor. Instead of adding a visible external lock around the wheel or frame, the locking component is matched with the motor structure and positioned inside the rear hub motor. This gives OEM teams a fixed vehicle-security component while preserving a cleaner complete-vehicle layout.

The series includes three real model directions. HS3718 is the compact option for e-scooter and space-sensitive motor projects, with a nominal 15 x 15 mm axle-hole direction and a confirmed lock-structure torque resistance of at least 160 N.m. DS3710 retains the nominal 15 x 15 mm direction while increasing torque resistance to at least 300 N.m for low-speed e-bike, shared-fleet and higher-demand mobility applications. GS3646 combines a 17.2 x 17.2 mm axle-hole direction, at least 300 N.m torque resistance and an operating range up to 100 C for high-speed or higher-temperature motor platforms.

All three models support confirmed 5V DC / 48V DC electrical directions, UART / RS485 / CAN interface options, IPX6 protection and RoHS / REACH. Final model selection is based on the motor structure, wheel diameter, controller architecture, sensing layout, brake interface and complete-vehicle operating conditions.

Technical Advantages / How It Works

The ATL Motor Hub Lock works as a physical wheel-immobilization component inside the rear motor. When the matched vehicle system issues a lock or unlock command through the selected interface, the internal mechanism changes between released and locked states. In the locked state, the mechanism restricts wheel rotation through the motor-side locking structure. The product is not the motor and does not perform bicycle braking.

Safety is handled through two coordinated levels. The electronic protection speed is defined during project matching, using the selected vehicle controller and speed-sensing arrangement. A separate mechanical safety layer uses the confirmed 30 RPM locking condition to reduce the risk of the mechanism engaging while the wheel is moving above its intended locking range. This is wheel-lock safety logic, not a braking-pressure ABS system.

HS3718 is suitable for compact electric-scooter and small hub-motor projects. DS3710 is intended for low-speed e-bikes, shared e-bikes, rental fleets and mobility platforms that require the >=300 N.m high-torque direction. GS3646 is intended for high-speed or higher-temperature motor platforms requiring a 17.2 x 17.2 mm axle-hole direction and operation up to 100 C.

OEM / Service Support

Before sampling, provide the rear hub motor drawing, internal installation space, axle-hole requirement, motor end-cover design, wheel diameter, voltage, selected UART/RS485/CAN interface, controller connection, speed-sensing layout, brake interface, operating temperature and complete-vehicle working conditions. The ATL lock does not include the hub motor, hub, axle or brake parts. Final dimensions, harness routing, connector definition, locking behavior and complete-vehicle validation must follow the approved project drawing and test plan.
