Core Function: Traction Drive
Connects the traction machine, car, and counterweight, transmitting power through friction with the traction sheave to achieve elevator lifting and lowering.
Utilizes a multi-strand fine steel wire (588/1176 strands) + polyurethane (PU) wrapping structure, with a tensile strength of up to 32kN and a single strand capable of bearing 3200kg.
Each elevator is equipped with 3-6 strands as standard, with a safety factor of **≥12**, far exceeding traditional steel wire ropes.
2. Structural and Technical Advantages
Flat and Ultra-thin Design: 30mm wide and 3mm thick, adaptable to smaller diameter traction sheaves, enabling machine room-less/small machine room designs.
Quiet and Low Noise: PU material reduces iron-iron friction, resulting in 40% lower operating noise than steel wire ropes.
Lubrication-Free: PU surface coating requires no oiling, eliminating oil pollution, environmentally friendly, and easy to maintain.
Extra-Long Lifespan: Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, with a service life 2-3 times that of traditional steel wire ropes.
Lightweight: 20% lighter than steel wire ropes, reducing the load on the main unit and saving approximately 15-20% on electricity.
