Button Appearance and Location
Such buttons are usually designed in a more striking color, such as red or green, so that they can be quickly identified by passengers in an emergency.

Working principle
Trigger mode: When the normal lighting system of the elevator fails due to power failure, failure and other reasons, the passenger presses the button, and the circuit inside the button will be connected, thereby triggering the emergency lighting function. The button may be directly connected to a backup power system inside the elevator, such as an emergency battery pack, to provide power to the lighting device.
Lighting mechanism: The button itself usually integrates a small lighting source, such as a light-emitting diode (LED). When the button is pressed, the power supply supplies power to the LED to make it emit light and provide local emergency lighting for the elevator car. Although the scope of this lighting is relatively limited, it is sufficient for passengers to see the operation buttons on the elevator control panel, emergency call devices and other key components, so that passengers can take corresponding emergency measures.
