What to Expect During ThermiVa Treatments.

Your experience begins with a private consultation with one of our board certified plastic surgeons; a female nurse will be present during this consultation as well. If it’s determined that ThermiVa is a good option for you, your treatment will take place in one of our private, comfortable exam rooms. No special preparation is needed.

To begin treatment, ultrasound gel will be applied to the female intimate areal tissues to help the ThermiVa wand move easily and comfortably over the tissues. The wand is placed on the tissues and passed over the labia, vulva, and internal female intimate areal tissues to deliver the radiofrequency energy.

Treatment is not painful, and no anesthetic is needed. If you have ever had a transfemale intimate areal ultrasound, the experience will be similar. Most patients feel only a mild, warm sensation as the wand is passed over the skin. You can return to your normal routine immediately.
