Customer Problem: A chemical plant used ordinary tarpaulins to cover corrosive raw materials. The tarpaulins were quickly corroded and perforated by chemicals, causing the raw materials to become damp and deteriorate, resulting in significant economic losses.
Solution: We provided a special PVC-coated fabric resistant to strong acids and alkalis. This fabric uses high-molecular-weight PVC resin and special plasticizers, and can withstand highly corrosive chemicals such as 98% concentrated sulfuric acid, 30% hydrochloric acid, and 40% sodium hydroxide.
Results: The tarpaulins were used continuously for 18 months in the harsh environment of the chemical plant without damage, increasing their service life by more than 10 times.
