Q3: How to store the A10VSO pump if it is not used for a long time?

  1. Clean the pump: Flush the internal oil passages with clean hydraulic oil to remove contaminants.
  2. Seal ports: Plug the suction and discharge ports with plastic caps to prevent dust/water ingress.
  3. Store in a dry environment: Keep the pump in a room with temperature 5–30°C and relative humidity < 60% (avoid direct sunlight or dampness).
  4. Rotate the shaft: Manually rotate the pump shaft 1–2 times every 3 months to prevent bearing rust.

5. Fault Diagnosis & Troubleshooting

Q1: The A10VSO pump has no output flow. What are the possible causes and solutions?

Cause Solution
Motor rotation direction is reversed Swap two phases of the motor power supply to correct rotation direction.
Swashplate angle is 0° (no displacement) For DR control: Adjust the handwheel/lever to increase the swashplate angle. For EP control: Check if the electrical signal (0-10V/4-20mA) is normal.
Suction line is blocked/leaking Clean or replace the suction filter; repair leaks in the suction line.
Oil level in the tank is too low Add hydraulic oil to the recommended level (between the tank’s upper/lower marks).
Internal wear (e.g., piston/cylinder block) Overhaul the pump; replace worn parts (pistons, cylinder block, valve plate).
