Bag dust collectors utilize textile filter cloth or non-textile felt to create filter bags, which filter dust-containing gas through the filtering effect of fiber fabrics. As the gas enters the bag dust collector, large particles and heavy dust settle down and fall into the ash hopper due to gravity. Finer dust then passes through the filter material and is retained, thus effectively treating the dust.
Once the dust-containing gas flows into the ash hopper through the guide plate from the lower air intake pipe of the dust collector, coarse dust falls into the ash hopper due to the collision of the guide plate and the reduction of gas velocity. Fine dust continues through the filter bag chamber with the gas and is retained in the bag due to various effects of the filter material fiber and fabric. The purified gas escapes from the bag and is discharged through the exhaust pipe. The dust accumulated on the filter bag is removed either by gas backwashing or by spraying pulse airflow for dust cleaning; once cleaned, the dust is discharged by the dust discharge device.
