This method is applicable to wastewater containing ammonia nitrogen within the range of 0-300 mg/L. Excessive calcium and magnesium ions, residual chlorine, turbidity, or other interfering factors may affect the measurement accuracy.

    • Eliminates corrosion risks from volatile gases in open systems.
  5. Reagent Tubing:

    • Uses imported modified PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) transparent tubing with an inner diameter >1.5 mm to minimize clogging by particulate matter in water samples.

>>Analytical Principle
After the water sample is mixed with a masking agent, ammonia nitrogen (present as free ammonia or ammonium ions) reacts with a salicylic acid chromogenic reagent under alkaline conditions and in the presence of a sensitizing agent, forming a colored complex. The analyzer detects this color change, converts it into an ammonia nitrogen concentration value, and outputs the result. The amount of colored complex formed corresponds to the concentration of ammonia nitrogen.
