Introduction
Light Gauge Steel Joist is a metal frame for construction made from high-quality continuous hot-dip galvanized steel strip as raw material, rolled through cold bending process. As a new type of building material, it is mainly used in conjunction with lightweight boards such as paper faced gypsum board and mineral wool board, and is widely used in ceiling decoration, interior and exterior walls, and canopy style ceilings of buildings. With its characteristics of lightweight, high strength, fire and moisture resistance, convenient construction, and environmental friendliness and recyclability, light steel keel has gradually replaced traditional wooden keel and become the mainstream skeleton material in modern building decoration engineering.
Features
Lightweight and High Strength: It has a light weight (about 3-4kg/m ²), but strong load-bearing capacity, which can effectively reduce the load on buildings.
Excellent fire resistance: The steel itself is non flammable, and when used in conjunction with fire-resistant gypsum board, the fire resistance limit can reach 1.0-1.6 hours, meeting strict fire safety regulations for public buildings.
Moisture and corrosion prevention: The surface is treated with galvanization or aluminum zinc plating, and the double-sided galvanization amount of high-quality products is not less than 120g/m ², effectively resisting water vapor erosion, preventing rust and decay, especially suitable for humid environments.
Structural stability: The coefficient of thermal expansion and contraction is small, and it is not easy to deform or crack after long-term use, ensuring the flatness of the ceiling and walls.
Convenient construction: Adopting prefabricated dry operation, the installation speed is fast, the construction period is short, and the parts can be combined and reused again, reducing labor costs.
Environmental protection and health: free of wood components, no need to apply insect and anti-corrosion chemical agents, no formaldehyde emission, in line with green building standards, and the materials can be 100% recycled.
