Features

Working Principle
Feeding: Raw polystyrene beads are fed into the pre-expander.
Heating: Steam is introduced into the chamber, raising the temperature and enabling the blowing agent to vaporize and expand the beads.
Expansion: The beads expand due to the gas produced by the blowing agent, filling the chamber.
Cooling: The expanded beads are cooled, allowing them to stabilize in their expanded form.
Discharge: Once complete, the expanded beads are discharged into a storage container for further processing or molding.
Applications
EPS Manufacturing: The pre-expander is used as a preliminary step in the production process of EPS products, preparing the beads for molding.
Insulation Products: Expanded beads can be molded into insulation panels for buildings and appliances.

Types of EPS Pre Expanders

Continuous Pre Expanders: Designed for constant operation, providing a continuous flow of expanded beads, which is more efficient for high-volume production.
