We supply PFAS-free waterproof breathable membrane as custom die-cut pieces with pre-applied adhesive and release liner, ready for immediate assembly. This product takes the complexity out of incorporating PFAS-free venting by delivering finished parts that match your exact port dimensions. Every piece is optically inspected for edge quality and placement accuracy. The parts can be supplied on rolls for automated dispensing or in sheets for manual peel-off placement, ideal for both prototype and mass production.
Integrating a PFAS-free breathable membrane often requires in-house die-cutting and adhesive lamination, which many smaller manufacturers lack. This leads to yield loss and inconsistent vent performance. Off-the-shelf adhesive vent patches simplify the supply chain, but most still contain PTFE. A dedicated PFAS-free die-cut part, supplied by the membrane manufacturer under strict quality control, guarantees consistent protection and compliance with minimal effort.
Our service converts our PFAS-free membrane roll stock into finished die-cut parts. We laminate the membrane to a chosen adhesive, kiss-cut it to your specified profile, and remove the waste matrix. The parts are presented on a continuous liner. Each part is the exact size and shape required to cover your vent hole with appropriate adhesive border. No further cutting is needed. This approach eliminates the need for you to invest in PFAS-free membrane handling capabilities.
Suitable for enclosure vent ports, LED module vents, sensor protective covers, and any application needing a ready-to-use PFAS-free vent patch. Ideal for tier-2 suppliers feeding automotive or appliance assembly lines.
The operator picks a part from the liner and applies it over the enclosure’s vent opening. The adhesive creates an immediate seal, and the membrane allows airflow to equalize pressure while rejecting water. The liner is removed, and the part is permanently fixed. There is no curing time or secondary process needed.
Submit a drawing of your vent port, including the desired seal width. We will recommend a die-cut shape that provides full coverage with minimal excess. Choose an adhesive compatible with your housing material. For high-temperature post-processing (e.g., powder coating), request a high-temperature masking liner that can be peeled after the process.
Q: Can you supply mixed shapes on one reel?
A: Yes, we can die-cut multiple part numbers onto a single reel with identifying marks for automated vision systems.
Q: What if my vent hole has a complex 3D contour?
A: The membrane is flexible; it can conform to slight curves. For extreme curvature, we can provide pre-formed parts.
Q: Is there a setup charge for custom shapes?
