The machine is designed specifically for the customer's part. A typical process flow: multiple rolls of the component materials are loaded onto the servo-driven unwinds. The materials are laminated together in precise registration in the wide laminating nip. The multi-layer web advances into the custom die cutting module. The large-area die cuts the vent membrane to the specified outer shape, and may also cut internal features or perforations. The waste skeleton is stripped and rewound. The finished parts proceed to the inspection station, where each part is checked for integrity. Accepted parts are stacked or sheeted; rejected parts are automatically diverted.
