Made from medical-grade EPTFE with a skin-safe adhesive system, it meets the biocompatibility requirements for head-worn devices that contact the face for extended periods. The vent's ultra-thin profile (0.08 mm) and matte black color integrate invisibly into the headset's facial interface or visor assembly. Its high moisture vapor transmission rate actively pulls humidity away from the microphone cavity, preventing the muffling effect of internal condensation. Solution

VR headsets generate significant heat and humidity inside the sealed facial gasket. Intense gameplay produces sweat that drips, pools, and migrates toward any opening, including microphone ports. How It Works

The membrane’s sub-micron pores present an impassable barrier to saline sweat droplets, whose high surface tension prevents entry. Sound pressure waves, being air-displacement phenomena, pass through the pores with negligible energy loss.
