Manufactured in accordance with ISO 19232-5/EN 462-5/ASTM E 2002 standards, the ISO 19232-5/EN 462-5/ASTM E 2002 Dual-Wire IQI (Dual-Linear IQI) consists of 13 wire pairs housed in a rigid, translucent plastic case. The diameter of the wires is equal to the distance between them, and each pair contains two wires with a circular cross-section.
The 1D to 3D wire pairs are made of tungsten; the other pairs are made of platinum. The Dual-Wire IQI (Dual-Linear IQI) is used to determine the geometric unsharpness of radiographic and real-time radiographic systems.
