The SF₆ Gas-Insulated Voltage Transformer is a fully enclosed electromagnetic unit designed for high-voltage power systems. It converts primary high voltages (35–550 kV) into standard secondary signals for precise metering, relay protection, and automatic control.
The interior is filled with high-purity SF₆ gas at 0.4–0.6 MPa gauge pressure at 20°C, providing excellent insulation performance, heat dissipation, aging resistance, non-combustibility and explosion-proof protection.
Oil-free, fully sealed and maintenance-free, with no leakage, no fire hazard and no environmental pollution.
Strong weather resistance
Adaptable to harsh environments from −45°C to +55°C, including heavy pollution, high humidity, plateau and coastal areas.
Reliable long-term performance
Excellent seismic and impact resistance, extremely low partial discharge and a service life of up to about 30 years.
Strong ferroresonance suppression
Capacitive characteristics provide strong ferroresonance suppression capability and ensure stable system operation.
Compact GIS integration
Highly integrable for built-in GIS installation, with a compact structure and minimal footprint.
