The ZA08 Global Edition is a portable Level 2 EV charger built for drivers who refuse to be tied to one place — or one continent. Whether you rent an apartment in New York, take road trips across the US, or drive through Europe, the ZA08 plugs into a compatible outlet and delivers up to 11kW of charging power.
It is available in two versions:
Type 1 (SAE J1772) — for North America
Type 2 (IEC 62196-2) — for Europe
Both versions share the same compact control box, 1.3-inch OLED display, 4-level adjustable current, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity, and IP66 weatherproofing. The difference is the connector, the plug, and the regional certification.
At under 3.5kg, the ZA08 is one of the lightest high-power portable chargers in its class. Toss it in your trunk, store it in a closet, or carry it to a friend’s garage. When you move, it moves with you — across town or across the ocean.

Q1: Can I use the US version in Europe?
A: No. The US version uses Type 1 and 240V/60Hz. The EU version uses Type 2 and 230V/50Hz. You need the version that matches your region.

A: Yes. In the US, use the J1772 adapter that came with your Tesla. In Europe, Tesla uses Type 2 natively.
Q3: I rent an apartment. Can I use this?
A: Yes. If you have access to a compatible outlet, you can charge. No installation needed.
Q4: What certifications does it hold?
