Choose the 7kW / 32A version for standard NEMA 14-50 outlets and older home wiring. Choose the 9.6kW / 40A version when you have a dedicated 50A circuit and want the fastest portable charge available. Both versions let you step the current down in four levels, so you can match the charger to your breaker size instead of upgrading your electrical panel.
