Product Overview
This test apparatus complies with Clause 14 of IEC 62196-3:2026 as well as Clauses 14.1.5 & 14.1.6 (Figures 13 & 14) of IEC 62196-1:2025. It is designed to verify the withdrawal force of a test plug pulled out from socket-outlets and inspect the performance of the connector’s latching mechanism.

Technical Requirements
1. Withdrawal Force
Mount interlock-equipped switched EV socket-outlets/vehicle connectors onto the test fixture specified in Figure 13 of IEC 62196‑1:2025, aligning the separation axis vertically for downward extraction of mating accessories.
The socket-outlet’s withdrawal force (including test weights) shall comply with values listed in the below Table:

2. Structure Features
• Withdrawal Force Test Apparatus
The tester consists of mounting fixture, clamping assembly, main weights, auxiliary weights and test plug.
Optimized design: pull fixture replaced with counterweight; weight hook directly links to test plug, with dedicated sample clamping fixture (configuration shown in figure 1).
