JISD0207 Sand And Dust Test Chamber for Automotive Parts & IP Protection Testing
Product Information
The Sand and Dust Test Chamber is used to test the dust resistance performance of electrical and electronic products, automotive parts, motorcycle components, and seals under simulated sand and dust environments.
It evaluates the harmful effects of dust particles entering product enclosures and verifies the sealing performance and reliability of products during use, storage, and transportation. The chamber can simulate natural sand and dust conditions or artificial environments caused by airflow and vehicle movement.
The equipment is designed and manufactured according to JIS D0207-1977 F2, IEC 60529 Fig. 2 IP5X/IP6X, IEC 60598-1:2008, IEC 60335-1 Clause 22.1 and other relevant standards.
Test Principle
The test chamber generates a dust-filled airflow to circulate specified test dust around the specimen under controlled conditions. After the test, the specimen is inspected to determine the amount of dust penetration and evaluate its dust protection performance.
