Working Principle
The SB131 hydraulic breaker chisel is the direct working component of the hydraulic breaker. It transfers the high-frequency impact energy generated by the breaker piston to the material being broken:
The breaker piston strikes the top of the chisel at 600–800 times per minute
The impact force travels down the chisel shaft to the sharp tip
The concentrated force creates cracks in the rock or concrete
Repeated impacts expand the cracks until the material breaks apart
The four-sided forged structure distributes impact force evenly across the chisel shaft, preventing bending and breakage. The 165mm diameter provides sufficient rigidity to handle the maximum impact force of the SB131 breaker.

A2: Under normal working conditions, our four-sided forged hammer chisel lasts 1200–1800 working hours. This is 3x longer than ordinary chisels. Service life may vary depending on rock hardness and working conditions. We recommend replacing the chisel when the tip is worn down by 20mm.
