Manual Starters
Manual starters are manually operated devices designed for simple and straightforward operation without requiring expert intervention. These starters feature a button or rotary knob that enables users to turn connected equipment on or off through mechanical linkages that open or close contacts.
Important Note: Manual starters do not break control circuits during power loss, which means motors could restart automatically when power is restored. This may present safety considerations in certain appliions.

Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transmits power from the vehicle's battery to the starter motor.
The electrical current activates both the starter motor and the starter drive (Bendix gear system), engaging the vehicle's flywheel. As the starter motor turns, it cranks the engine to initiate the combustion process in petrol and diesel vehicles.
Once the engine is running properly, the mechanism disengages the starter motor from the gear and flywheel as the engine no longer requires the electrical spark to maintain operation.
