Manual Starters Overview
Manual starters are manually operated devices designed for simple operation without requiring expert intervention. They feature a button or rotary knob that opens or closes contacts to start or stop the motor through mechanical linkages.
Note: These starters do not break control circuits during power loss, which may cause automatic motor restart when power returns - an important safety consideration for certain appliions.

Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transfers power from the battery to the starter motor, activating both the motor and the starter drive (Bendix gear system).
The starter motor turns the engine's flywheel, initiating combustion in petrol and diesel engines. Once the engine runs independently, the mechanism disengages the starter motor from the flywheel.
