Manual Starters Overview
Manual starters are devices operated manually, designed for simple operation without requiring expert intervention. These starters feature a button or rotary knob that enables users to turn connected equipment on or off through mechanical linkages that open or close contacts.

Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via stop/start button or traditional key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component transmits power from the vehicle's battery to the starter motor, activating it along with the starter drive (Bendix gear system). The mechanism engages the vehicle's flywheel, cranking the engine to initiate the combustion process in petrol and diesel vehicles.
Once the engine is running properly, the starter motor disengages from the gear and flywheel as the engine no longer requires the electrical spark to maintain operation.
