Starter Motor Operation
When the engine is activated (via start button or ignition key), an electrical signal is sent to the starter solenoid. This component channels power from the battery to the starter motor, engaging the starter drive (Bendix gear) with the engine's flywheel.
The starter motor turns the engine to initiate combustion in petrol and diesel vehicles. Once the engine runs independently, the starter disengages from the flywheel as the electrical spark is no longer needed.
