Product testing steps
Method and steps for cylinder head flatness detection
(1) First clean all the oil holes of the cylinder head, and use a brush to clean the oil holes and sealing surface.
(2) Confirm that the flatness of the plate is qualified, and place the plate flat on the support of the horizontal
platform.
(3) Select an appropriate position on the plate to place the plane on the cylinder head. The convex and concave
parts face the plate.
(4) Use a brush to gently brush away the fine particles and debris between the surfaces.
(5) Move the indicator to the plate, keep the pointer still, bring the steel ruler close to the indicator finger 0, turn
the pointer, and observe the relative position of the steel ruler and the pointer.
(6) Add a thickness gauge shim to the convex or concave area, and then re-measure, so that more accurate
flatness data can be obtained.
(7) Calculate the cylinder head flatness value based on the measured data to determine whether it meets the
specified requirements.
