Critical installation specification: Only apply a small amount of clean engine oil on the inner sealing lip that contacts the crankshaft; the entire outer metal circumference must be installed completely dry, no grease, oil or sealant allowed on OD surface. Align the rotation arrow with actual crankshaft running direction to ensure sealing performance.
