Product Description
This nylon valve spring upper seat is an important auxiliary part of the valve mechanism on CAT 3412 V12 heavy-duty diesel engine cylinder head. It is sleeved on the valve stem and placed between the valve spring and spring retainer, playing the role of positioning, isolation, wear reduction and vibration damping.
Mainly used for overhaul of CAT 3412 marine propulsion main engines, large stationary diesel generator sets and industrial power units. Aging, brittle and broken spring seats will cause valve spring deflection, uneven force, accelerated spring fatigue fracture and abnormal valve tappet knocking sound. It is a standard matching accessory for full cylinder head repair kits.
