The travel gearbox is the "power converter" of the excavator's travel system. Its core function is to match the power requirements of the hydraulic system and the travel mechanism. After the power output by the hydraulic motor is decelerated by the gearbox, the torque can be increased several to dozens of times, meeting the strong driving force of the excavator under working conditions such as climbing, heavy load, and muddy roads. At the same time, its compact structural design adapts to the excavator chassis space, and through the combination of gears with different speed ratios, it can realize the mode switching between "high-speed travel" (transfer operation) and "low-speed heavy load" (construction operation), balancing operation efficiency and power performance. In addition, the built-in buffer mechanism of the gearbox can absorb the impact load during walking, protecting the chassis and hydraulic system from damage.
