The GVO excavator relief valve, compatible with Hitachi excavators, is a key pressure control valve in the hydraulic system. Product Introduction

This threaded cartridge relief valve is custom-designed for multi-way distribution valves in medium-tonnage excavators such as the DX140LC, DX140, and DH150-7. It is a crucial pressure regulation and safety component in the overall hydraulic control system of the machine. Doosan's 14-15 ton series of equipment are widely used in urban civil engineering, foundation excavation, municipal pipeline construction, farmland renovation, and sand and gravel yard loading and unloading. These machines experience high frequency of daily operation, with boom lifting and lowering, slewing, and bucket digging subjected to alternating high-pressure impacts over extended periods.

The relief valve body is integrally forged from high-strength alloy steel, eliminating the need for ordinary castings and avoiding inherent defects such as porosity, sand holes, and material looseness. Core components like the valve core and seat, which undergo frequent reciprocating motion and are subjected to high-pressure compression, undergo a double heat treatment process of quenching and surface carburizing hardening. This results in sufficient surface hardness and excellent wear resistance, resisting abrasive damage from iron filings and hard sand particles within the hydraulic oil, thus extending the valve's service life.

The valve core mating parts are precision-machined using high-precision grinding equipment, accurately controlling the optimal clearance between the valve core and valve sleeve. This ensures smooth and sensitive valve core opening and resetting, reducing the likelihood of problems such as valve core jamming or return-to-positioning difficulties. The hexagonal locking area at the lower end of the valve body is thickened, ensuring even wrench force during maintenance and disassembly, preventing slippage and edge damage. Multiple sealing points are equipped with high-temperature resistant and anti-aging rubber O-rings, and the multi-layer sealing structure effectively prevents impurities from entering the valve core's working clearance.

All pressure relief oil passages are CNC drilled, resulting in smooth and rounded inner walls. This minimizes eddy current loss and reduces oil pressure pulsation during hydraulic oil flow. The valve body surface undergoes rust-proofing and wear-resistant treatment, preventing rust and peeling even in harsh working environments with high-temperature hydraulic oil and dusty, humid conditions. This makes it perfectly suited for the demanding working conditions of medium-sized excavators operating under continuous heavy loads for extended periods.
