This GVO cartridge-type overload relief valve is a core hydraulic pressure safety component specifically designed for Sumitomo's SH5 generation main heavy-duty excavators and the Case CX240B platform excavators. It is precisely compatible with the Sumitomo SH210-5 and SH240-5, two classic 20-24 ton direct-injection hydraulic excavators, as well as the Case CAS-E240 (CX240B) construction machinery, which shares the same technology platform. As a main control multi-way distribution valve with built-in pressure regulation and overload protection, it undertakes three core functions: limiting the maximum working pressure of the hydraulic system, providing instantaneous pressure relief under heavy loads, and stabilizing and locking pressure under continuous loads. It is an irreplaceable pressure safety protection gate for the entire hydraulic system.

The exposed metal surface of the valve body undergoes galvanizing and passivation for rust prevention, exhibiting outstanding resistance to corrosion from construction site mud and water stains, as well as dust adhesion and jamming. Older Sumitomo SH210-5/SH240-5 models, which are frequently parked outdoors, and Case E240 equipment, which are used for extended periods in damp mining sites, have rarely experienced valve body corrosion, valve stem jamming, or malfunction.

The built-in pressure regulating spring also utilizes alloy spring steel with a galvanized surface for corrosion protection.
