The GVO excavator relief valve, compatible with Hitachi excavators, is a key pressure control valve in the hydraulic system. Product Introduction

This GVO cartridge-type main relief valve is a dedicated hydraulic main control safety valve for older direct injection models of the Komatsu LC-6 extended chassis, precisely compatible with PC200LC-6, PC220LC-6, and PC250LC-6. Three classic extended tracked excavators feature a multi-way distribution valve with built-in core pressure protection components. This component is responsible for three core functions of the entire machine's hydraulic system: maximum pressure limitation, instantaneous overload relief under heavy load, and continuous load pressure stabilization and maintenance. These directly determine the machine's digging and cutting power, the synchronization and coordination of complex movements, and the smoothness of operation. It also provides ultimate overload protection for high-value hydraulic assemblies such as the main hydraulic pump, boom and stick cylinders, travel and swing motors, and high-pressure hydraulic lines.

The upper valve core guide sliding area is equipped with an ultra-high temperature resistant fluororubber combination seal ring, which can withstand the extremely high oil temperature in the closed engine compartment during summer, corrosion from deteriorated hydraulic oil, and the hardening, cracking, and permanent deformation failure of the seal ring caused by alternating day and night temperature differences.

The double-seal design of the ring-shaped ring forms a closed-loop, airtight protection system, completely preventing high-pressure hydraulic oil from leaking outwards from the joint between the valve body and the multi-way distribution valve block. Even under harsh conditions such as continuous shift work in muddy, waterlogged construction sites, dusty quarries, and where hydraulic oil filters are poorly maintained and oil cleanliness is low, there will be no risk of external oil leakage or seepage through the threaded gaps.

The cartridge installation uses a precision rolling process for the external thread, resulting in a full, regular thread profile and a high surface finish. The thread engages smoothly without chipping or stripping during screwing into the distribution valve cavity, preventing damage to the internal threads and avoiding secondary repair and rework costs. The large hexagonal locking nut at the bottom distributes force evenly, ensuring the valve body remains firmly secured throughout the entire process of off-road transport, heavy-duty excavation impacts, and high-frequency rotation and start-stop vibrations, effectively preventing system pressure drift and imbalance caused by long-term vibration.
